Every year, Farmer Phil’s Festival opens welcomes visitors from the Monday morning before the Friday, Saturday and Sunday that form the main event. The fields buzz with activity as more and more campers arrive to secure prime tent-pitching positions and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding Shropshire Hills.
As the week progresses, more and more vendors arrive and set up, and as their numbers increase, so too does the variety of midweek entertainment for young and old alike. This year sees the return of some old Farmer Phil’s Festival favourites and one or two exciting new additions:

12.oo – Back by popular demand, it’s the Exotic Zoo, fronted by Blue Peter’s very own animal man, Scott Adams! Scott’s enthralling animal man show will teach you all about the animals who live at Exotic Zoo – it’s very hands on so be prepared to get closer than ever before to your favourite animals.
18.30 – 19.00 – This is when the party really gets started! We’re joined by Adrenaline Rush, a band formed at The Rock Project, Shrewsbury. As a dedicated rock and pop music school for 7-18 year olds, budding musicians can learn how to play Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums or Vocals The Rock Project is the place to be for all young musicians of any level, whether you are a complete beginner or more advanced wanting to progress with public performances or forming bands. Four-piece Adrenaline Rush have honed their skills at The Rock Project and will be ready to rock Farmer Phil’s Festival like only they can!
20.00 – 21.00 – Once you’re all nicely warmed up, it’s time for Farmer Phil’s Ol’ Stars to take the stage. Now, not much is known about this lot but we’re told they’ve got some real treats for us all to enjoy. All we can say is… don’t miss them!
22.00 – 23.00 – Bringing the evening to a close and setting things up superbly for the weekend to get underway are The Ready Eddies. And you’ll need to be ready for them, because like their name suggests, they’re going to be ready for you!
